Speaking

Chien J. Wang
Featured Speaker at New York Life

Even though I am a professional speaker, I am really not a professional speaker.  You see, most speakers speak full time.  That is how they make their living.  So when they are speaking so much, how can they actually do the things they are speaking about?  How can they speak from experience?  Or are their experiences 20 years old and are out of date and out of touch with today's world.

I am an entrepreneur first.  I live and breathe business.  I take calls from clients, talk to my vendors, lead my employees and still get out and network in the industry and the community at large.  Stop hiring one trick ponies.  Those are the speakers who only have one speech for the last 20 years.  I will deliver the most relevant information and bring true value and excitement to your meetings and events.

I always have time for photo ops

Most speakers are on the run because if they are not speaking, they are not making money.  For me, speaking is more of a pleasure than a way to make money.

I like to take my time when I book a speaking engagement.  I never book another event after my speaking engagement just so I can mingle with the audience and have photo ops with them.  This is called building your fan base.
