I met my finance in 1996 on AOL and went out with her on a blind date.  I picked her up at her job in my two seater Ford Econoline cargo van. 

I told Brandie that she can still get out of my van before it's too late because I could be an ax murderer.  She did not get out and the rest is history. 

Brandie is a HR professional.  She is also an artist and professional belly dancer. 

So how did someone like me, who is really not that smart, become an intellectual heavyweight?  For one thing, I believe traveling is the best teacher.  Secondly, you have to allow yourself to be influenced.  If your mind is already made up, you can not absorb any more new ideas. 

When I die, I don't want people to think of me as someone who sold lots of crystal awards or that I was a successful entrepreneur.  Passing on what I learned in my lifetime and having a positive effect on others is my true legacy.

I am the hardest worker in the crystal awards business.  I work every Sunday so I can finish up work from the previous week and get a jump start on the new week.  So on Super Sunday, my Homies sent the world's biggest limo to my office to pick me up so we could roll to the party.

Like Prince, I have many protégées.  One of my favorite protégé is Mia McLeod.  She is one of Top 30 Realtors under 30 years old in the entire United States.  I don't just pick anyone to be my protégé.  Not everyone gets to play on my team.  Here are some basic requirements.

1.  Willing to do whatever it takes.

2.  Willing to work, work, work and no play for three years.

3.  Don't talk when I'm talking.

4.  Believe that you are the best, yet thinking that others are   better than you.  I know it does not sound right but just believe it. 

5.  Trust that I can take you there.
